TONI LYNN STARR... fell in love with the beach at first sight before she had even learned to walk!
Toni went to her first NASCAR Race in Daytona, Florida when she was only two years old!
And, her family moved to Fort Myers Beach ...a little beach island on the Southwest Coast of Florida when she was in the Fourth Grade.
And that's, where her Fort Myers Elementary School Sixth Grade Teacher first discovered Toni's writing ability andencouraged her to entera Story she had written in a Writing Contest ...that she won!
And that's, when Toni knew she was "hooked" haha! She absolutely loved that other people were READING ...and LOVING her stories that she wrote! And, that's where the Toni's first ROMANCE of WRITING began for her!!!
Later in life, when Toni was fourteen she met her Idol, Country Music Legend Loretta Lynn who asked Toni to get her guitar and sing a song for her ...to which Toni nervously did.
And when she had finished singing, Loretta sat there nodding her head and said "Well, Honey ... you sang real good! ...my advice to you is to WRITE your own songs ...and BE YOURSELF!!! Always remember ...there's only ONE Toni Lynn ...you find your own style and you goSANG on EVERY STAGE ... that they'll let ya' climb up on!!! ...And, you come see me inNashville ... when you write your first song!" And, she did ....Toni wrote and recorded her first songs when she was sixteen ...and moved to Nashville right out of High School to work for one of the BIGGEST Music Publishing Company's in Nashville, TN ....and the World.
